9x9 Records is an independent record label based in Liverpool, releasing music on vinyl, CD and digitally since 2020. We work with a small, close-knit roster of songwriters, bands and outsiders — new artists making a first record and long-standing musicians with decades behind them.
We're not chasing trends. Every release on the label is one we'd buy ourselves: recorded honestly, pressed properly, and put out with the same care whether it's a first EP or a fortieth album.
The label is run from 81 Renshaw St in Liverpool city centre, a building we share with other independent music and arts organisations across the city.
Vinyl, CD and digital, planned and pressed with each artist from the ground up.
Promotion, distribution and a bit of hand-holding through the parts of releasing a record nobody enjoys.
